The Scarlets Logo was designed in 2003 by Simon Goss of SiGGA Design Ltd of Swansea, UK - http://www.sigga.net/logo.html
The logo was derived from the previous Llanelli RFC logo which also featured a stylised Dragon, in that instance backed by three feathers and held within a shield border and scroll. This was originally designed by Harvey Thomas of Carmarthen though had been much updated and adjusted over the years.
The Scarlets text font is a modified version of Peignot (1937, Adolphe Mouron Cassandre), with horizontal scaling and the removal of the bar from the capital "A".
