This image, Samuel_Vimes.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (Eldestone) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

• it is of much lower resolution and quality than the original (copies made from it will be of very inferior quality)
• it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the originating book
• it conforms with the artist's wishes for use on other pages, i.e. not commercial.
