Summary

Description
English: Samphire Hoe. A hoe is a small peninsula. The Samphire was a famous ship of the largest Kent railway company in Victorian England, with regular trade and passage to French ports. In the background are the tall, thin twin portals of the Shakespeare Tunnel, in the middle is the road access tunnel to the hoe, from the A20. Above is the cliff. On the right is one of the Channel Tunnel equipment sheds.
