Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	As referenced in this section of the article, the Japanese theatrical release Royal Space Force was marketed using a deceptive advertising campaign that excerpted imagery from the actual film and presented it with new, fantastical descriptions. This image shows three frames from the trailer, which opens with a such a visual element; the standing stone seen briefly in the film that in the ad campaign became an iconic "Signal Tower" said to glow from a telepathic and romantic bond between the film's two main characters, Shirotsugh and Riquinni.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	This is an actual image from the subject of this article, which is a copyrighted work.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	The image is 24 KB, and as mentioned, is greatly reduced from the original DVD resolution of the source material. It includes three still frames from a trailer 1:06 in length.
