English: This symbol is a "felicitous symbol" of Chinese Folk Religion. It is derived from the ideograph 囍. Felicitous symbols of Chinese Folk Religion include symbols based on the following ideographs: 福, 禄, 寿, 喜, and 財. 囍 is a variation of 喜, used as a symbol of love and marriage.
