Deutsch: Rotkohl mit Horizontalschnitt durch seine Wachstumsachse: Die spiralförmig angeordneten Krautblätterstiele sind tragende Strukturen des Kohlkopfes. Mäandernde Faltungen der Kohlblätter füllen stützend die Räume zwischen den Blattstielen aus und können von Außen einwirkenden Drücken und Stößen dynamisch nachgeben, um Verletzungen der Pflanze entgegenzuwirken.
