Research strongly suggests, though has not conclusively established, that the photographer is Ray Stevenson. The Look misdates this photo as September 1975 and misidentifies it as from the band's first photo session. For the pictures from the band's actual first photo session--which occurred in January or February 1976 and were taken by Peter Christopherson--see Savage, Jon, England's Dreaming (St. Martins Press, 1993), color portfolio between pages 282 and 283.
