Summary

Description
Norsk nynorsk: Våpen for den tidlegare kommunen Rolvsøy i Østfold fylke, godkjent ved kongeleg resolusjon 6. april 1982.
Motiv: På raud botn ein gull båt med mast og beslått storsegl. Rolvsøy var eigen kommune fram til 1994, då han vart slått saman med Fredrikstad. I 1860-åra fann ein fleire restar etter vikingtida på Haugen gard i Rolvsøy. Her fann ein òg restar etter Tuneskipet som no står på Vikingmuseet på Bygdøy. Rolvsøy var på den tida ein del av Tune herad. Båten på våpenet har ei form som vart brukt i mellomalderen.
