Description
English: Roamer Premier 9 ct gold midsize mens watch made in Switzerland in 1961 on a ROWI Fixoflex expandable/retractable elastic watchband. A 9 ct gold alloy consists of 37.5% gold and 62.5% other metals like copper and silver.
The watch features a MST 372 caliber 11.5"' Lignes hand winding movement. The MST 372 was produced from 1944 to 1962, has a beat rate of 18,000 BPH (= 2.5 Hz), 55 degrees lift angle and was offered in 15 or 17 jewels variants. It went through a number of variations in the shock-resist design, from plain, shock-resist (SR), and super-shock-resist (SSR I) and incabloc (SSR II).
