Summary

Description
English: The River Mersey now starts in Stockport, at the confluence of the Goyt and Tame. It is marked by a sculpture- The River of Life- which is hard against the M60 motorway which makes photography a challenge.
Water is life and Heavens gift
Here Rivers Goyt and Tame become Mersey
flowing clear from Stockport to the sea
The Goyt flows in from the east, and the Mersey flows out to the west while the Tame emerges under the motorway from the north.
