English: Lead, d=44 mm. 17.42 g. Very rare.

The May Uprising took place in Dresden, Kingdom of Saxony in 1849; it was one of the last of the series of events known as the Revolutions of 1848.

Samuel Erdmann Tzschirner, 1812 Bautzen - 1870 Leipzig and Otto Leonhard Heubner, 1812 Plauen - 1893 Dresden-Blasewitz and Carl Gotthelf Todt, 1893 Auerbach, Vogtland - 1952 Riesbach near Zürich.

Fighting scene with revolutionary barricades in Dresden. In exergue: "DRESDEN". / A shield with 3 names of the leaders of the revolution "TSCHIRNER HEUBNER TODT" dividing the dates "4-9 MAY 1849". 3 lines below: "PROVISORISCHE REGIERUNG SACHSENS". Slg Vogel 7573; Slg Krug 1500.
