Summary

Description
English: Revelation Missionary Baptist Church, 833 Fillmore Avenue, Buffalo, New York, April 2020. Erected in 1912 to a design by architect Henry Osgood Holland, the building was originally home to Ahavas Achim's synagogue on Fillmore Avenue, a congregation that continued worshiping in the building until 1951 when it merged with another synagogue in North Buffalo. A stone panel sporting a relief of a menorah can still be seen in the stepped parapet of the roofline. The building has served as home to a number of Christian congregations since the departure of the original owners.
