English: Rev. Carolus Pole (1686-1731), 3rd son of Sir John Pole, 3rd Baronet of Shute, Devon and Rector of St Breock in Cornwall. By his wife Sarah Rashleigh, a daughter of Jonathan II Rashleigh (1642-1702) of Menabilly, Cornwall, he was the grandfather of Reginald Pole-Carew (1753-1835) who inherited the Carew seat of Antony from his cousin Sir Coventry Carew, 6th Baronet (d.1748).
