Summary

Description
English: Remains of Madron Well Chapel. Madron Well Chapel is over 100 metres from the 'actual' Madron Holy Well, but it contains a stone trough of running water in the corner which was also considered to be a holy well. In 1640 the cripple John Trelille came and bathed once a week for three weeks and was cured. In the past two years a lot has been done to tidy up and improve access to the chapel remains, which are out in the fields north of Madron village. The path there from the neat car parking area is smooth and well-surfaced, there is a new drystone wall and gate to the chapel area and the chapel building has been cleared of invading plants.
