Description
English: The Soviet Russian Embassy in Paris. In the foreground, from right: Charles Rappoport, the exiled French communist; Christian Rakovsky, the Soviet envoy and suspect Trotskyist militant; Leonid Krasin, the Soviet Ambassador (assassinated months later, succeeded by Rakovsky). Also pictured (second row, far left?) is Boris Mikhailovich Volin, the Comintern man and Embassy Secretary.
