Summary

Description
English: Ramsgate from the East Pier Ramsgate has a wonderful variety of architecture, predominantly Regency and Victorian. The domed red brick building just left of centre is the Custom House (currently empty), to its left the Queen's Head pub with a bas relief head of Victoria on the pediment. To the right stands the Obelisk, dedicated to George IV, behind that, Pete's Fish Palace is a curious crenelated building and in the right foreground, the Royal Victoria Pavilion, now a casino.
