English: Plaque recognising band Railroad Gin located on Brisbane's Walk of Fame in Brunswick St Mall, Fortitude Valley. The plaque was laid in 2008.
Text reads: Led by songwriter Laurie Stone and firebrand vocalist Carol Lloyd, Railroad Gin's 1975 debut album "A Matter of Time", spawned three Brisbane #1 singles: Do Ya Love Me, You Told the World and the title track. Lloyd pursued a successful solo career, while the band soldiered on with a new vocalist, Judee Ford. The band's second album "Journey's End" produced a fourth Brisbane #1, The Keeper and the Lord.
