Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Potrivit anexei nr. 1.4, stema comunei Hoghilag se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular roşu cu marginile rotunjite. În interiorul scutului se află un turn de apărare de aur, broşând un brâu undat de argint şi două flori de tuberoză de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate. Turnul sugerează istoria veche a zonei. Tuberozele semnifică una din preocupările tradiţionale ale locuitorilor, cultivarea florilor. Brâul undat reprezintă râul Târnava Mare. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
