Summary[edit]

Description This is the official insignia of RNZAF Base Ohakea near Palmerston North. It shows a Maori weapon and flash of lightning superimposed over a Pa gate. It is Crown Copyright in right of New Zealand, and thus may be reproduced without specific permission. Originally approved for RNZAF Station Ohakea April 1958, modified and approved for RNZAF Base Ohakea July 1979.
