Description
English: A U.S. Navy Vought RF-8G Crusader reconnaissance plane (BuNo 144615) damaged by flak over Vietnam on September 6 1966. This plane was assigned to photographic reconnaissance squadron VFP-62 Fighting Photos, Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1), aboard the aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVA-42), for a deployment to Vietnam from 21 June 1966 to 21 February 1967.
