DescriptionREADBOURNE, CENTREVILLE, QUEEN ANNE COUNTY, MD.jpg
English: 1731; ASSOCIATED WITH THE HOLLYDAY FAMILY WHO OWNED THE LAND AND BUILT THE HOUSE BETWEEN 1730 AND 1904. THE SOUTH WING WAS ADDED IN 1741 AND THE NORTH WING IN 1848. IT IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST GEORGIAN STRUCTURES REMAINING IN MARYLAND
REF. #73002134 THERE IS CURRENTLY A PICTURE OF READBOURNE IN THE LISTING BUT IS IS A 1940 HABS PHOTO AND THE PRESENT BEARS NO RESEMBLANCE TO THAT PICTURE. ONE CHIMNEY HAS BEEN ADDED, THE DORMERS ARE GONE, AND AN ADDITIONAL WING HAS BEEN BUILT IN 1948. THERE ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION THIS IS READBOURNE BECAUSE THERE IS A BEAUTIFUL SIGN AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE LONG DRIVELY LEADING DIRECTLY TO THE HOUSE. I THINK THIS MIGHT BE A PICTURE TO ADD TO THE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS CATEGORY
