Summary

Description
English: RCTS Rail Tour at the former Kemp Town station, 1952
View towards the buffer-stops at the station at the end of a short branch from Brighton, which had not seen a regular passenger service since 2/1/33 although goods trains worked in until 14/6/71: the site has subsequently been thoroughly built over. This Rail Tour of October 1952 was headed by ex-LB&SCR Stroudley class A1X 'Terrier' 0-6-0T BR No. 32636, which eventually became No. 72 'Fenchurch' on the Bluebell Railway.
