English: Coat of arms for the municipality of Røros (kommune), Norway The coat-of-arms is from modern times. They were adopted on 29 October 1992. The arms show a old copper symbol above two crossed mining tools in yellow on a red background.

Venussymbolet som står over korslagte redskapene, er det gamle symbolet for metallet kopper har vært brukt som symbol for Røros gjennom generasjoner.

Feiselen (hammeren med to flate baner) og bergjarnet (skaft-meiselen med èn flate og èn spiss bane) ble brukt i sammenheng. Disse to handredskapene er de klassiske gruveredskapene, og de symboliserer bergverk generelt.
