Summary

Description

Musa velutina, Musaceae Ornamental Banana

I do not know the name of the species. This is a banana tree which stems are ascending (contrary to edible bananas) and which produces pink bananas. The guide said the flesh of those bananas is edible, but the seeds are very large and hard and should not be eaten unless one wants serious gastrointestinal problems.
