Description: A photograph taken by Corporal Charles Overstreet while his unit was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia during World War II. He was a member of the Headquarters Battery Radio Unit of the 252nd Field Artillery Battalion. Corporal Overstreet was a radio operator for his unit and was made their official unit photographer. The 252nd was rated the top artillery unit at the time and sent to Fort Benning, Georgia to demonstate correct artillery procedures to West Point Officer Candidates during what was called "School Troops." This photo shows Larry Brudahl setting outside a pup tent during maneuvers. Original photograph size: 4.42 in (h) x 7.47 in (w).
