| Description |
Español: Vista del Puerto de Navacerrada desde las inmediaciones de la cima de la Bola del Mundo (2.268 m). Este puerto de montaña tiene una altura de 1.880 metros, siendo el más alto de la Sierra de Guadarrama, y comunica las provincias españolas de Madrid y Segovia. Pero su importancia reside en que es una estación de esquí muy concurrida y por ser un animado centro de montañismo y turismo al tener una estación de ferrocarril, albergues, hoteles y restaurantes. Todas estas instalaciones están en la vertiente madrileña del puerto, que es la que se ve en la fotografía. Así mismo, desde este paso de montaña salen algunas rutas y ascensiones muy populares en la sierra. En la imagen se ve, tras el Puerto de Navacerrada, la cara norte de Siete Picos (2.138 m) y a la derecha la sierra de la Mujer Muerta. |
