Summary

Description
English: Psalidopus huxleyi (=Psalidopus spiniventris), the blind Scissor-foot Prawn of the depths of the Andaman Sea. The chelae are unique, in being formed like shears, and the second pair of legs end in a brush of hairs. The shears and the brush are shown, enlarged, on the left.
