II. Bandera insignia: Insignias of the Supreme Command flags are rectangular, with a ratio between width and length of four by seven. When they are lifted, no other insignia should be raised. In smaller vessels, besides the flagship banner, a long and wide National Flag is carried: B. Visits to ships and establishments: the insignia of the Supreme Command flag is white, worn on its upper left quarter a National Flag, in its bottom left quarter five stars in gold, each having five points in a imaginary circle with a diameter equal to 10% of the length, centered and evenly distributed horizontally, and the right half of the center the shield of the Navy of Mexico, written in an imaginary circle with a diameter equal to the third its base. REGLAMENTO de honores, banderas y luces de la Armada de México. Publicado en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el Jueves 19 de octubre del 2000, TÍTULO PRIMERO. Honores; CAPÍTULO I. Honores al Cargo; Artículo 20.- Honores al Presidente de la República:

II. Bandera insignia: las banderas insignias del Mando Supremo serán rectangulares, guardando una proporción entre anchura y longitud de cuatro a siete. Cuando se icen éstas no deberá estar izada ninguna otra insignia. En embarcaciones menores, además de la bandera insignia llevarán larga a popa una Bandera Nacional: B. Visitas a buques y establecimientos: la bandera insignia del Mando Supremo será de color blanco, llevará inscritas en su cuarta parte superior izquierda una Bandera Nacional; en su cuarta parte inferior izquierda llevará cinco estrellas en color dorado de cinco puntas cada una en un círculo imaginario con diámetro equivalente al 10% del largo de esta parte, centradas y distribuidas equitativamente en sentido horizontal, y en la mitad derecha al centro llevará el escudo de la Armada de México inscrito en un círculo imaginario con un diámetro igual a la tercera parte de su base, y En base a:
