Summary

Description
English: Two-axis political spectrum chart, cultural focus on community/individual, and economic focus on community/individual. It is similar to the Nolan chart, except with less libertarian bias. Instead of the non-left-right axis being libertarian-authoritarian (as with the Nolan chart), it is individualism-communitarianism. Nolan was a libertarian. His chart, and many other derivatives of it, has a bias against the polar opposite of his preferred view, calling it authoritarianism, which is a very loaded word. NPOV language is preferred on Wikimedia.

I originally made this chart as a PNG in Photoshop, then translated it to SVG in Inkscape (because SVG is favored on Wikipedia).

Previously published: Similar versions of this diagram have been published on Wikimedia and my now defunct personal website, both years ago; but this particular graphic has never been published anywhere else.
