Polski: Polscy cywile prowadzeni na egzekucję przez żołnierzy niemieckich (zdjęcie prawdopodobnie wykonane w czasie kampanii wrześniowej). Na oryginale zdjęcia znajduje się napis w języku niemieckim: „Polnische Civilisten die auf uns geschossen haben. In Hintergrund Brennendes Dorf” (pol. „Polscy cywile którzy do nas strzelali. W tle płonąca wieś”).
English: Polish men led to execution by German soldiers. This photo was probably taken during the German invasion of Poland in September 1939. Original inscription at the back of the photo (in German) reads: “Polnische Civilisten die auf uns geschossen haben. In Hintergrund Brennendes Dorf” (en. Polish civilans who shot to us. Burning village in the background).
