Español: Una de las plazas más hermosas de Puerto Rico. En su centro la adorna una bella fuente que fue traída de Francia. Esta fue donada en el 1918 por el entonces Alcalde de Guayama, Don Genaro Cautiño Insúa (1914-1920).
Tiene 16 jardines entre los cuales se distiguen algunos árboles conocido como Laureles de la India que fueron sembrados apróximadamente para el año 1895. La plaza mantiene tres (3) monumentos y un (1) busto. Los monumentos son: soldados guayameses caídos en la I y II Guerra Mundial (1952 ), a los que en Korea cayeron por la Libertad y la Democracia, Soldados caídos el 4 de Ohio (1923 ) y el busto de Luis Palés Matos. |
