| Description |
English: Plaque at 103 Żelazna Street in Warsaw, commemorating place when German “Befehlstelle Sipo” was located in summer 1942 – in the period of mass deportations of the inhabitants of the Warsaw Ghetto to the Treblinka extermination camp. This building was also used as an arrest and place of execution. Thousands of Jews were imprisoned, tortured and murder there.
Polski: Tablica na ścianie domu przy ul. Żelaznej 103 w Warszawie. 22 lipca 1942 r. została tu umieszczona siedziba tzw. Befehlstelle Sipo – komendy SS kierującej wielką akcją wysiedleńczą z warszawskiego getta do obozu zagłady w Treblince (lato 1942). Mieścił się tu także areszt i miejsce kaźni. Tysiące Żydów było więzionych, torturowanych i mordowanych w tym budynku. |
