English: Pirmasens um 1910 old Postcard. The old Postcard shows Exerzier place, Johannes (Calvin) church (left), Sankt Pirminius church in Pirmasens, Germany.
Deutsch: historische Postkarte um 1910. Pirmasens um 1910 mit Blick auf den Exerzierplatz einschließlich Bismarckdenkmal mit Steinskulptur des Heiligen Georgs als Drachentöter um 1910, Johanneskirche (nach Johannes Calvin) (links) und Pirminiuskirche (rechts). Zur Landgrafenzeit des Ludwig IX. (Hessen-Darmstadt) stand 1770 auf dem oberen Schlossplatz in Pirmasens eine riesige Exerzierhalle. Aus den Steinen dieser Halle entstand die erste katholische Kirche. 1896 abgerissen und durch eine Notholzkirche ersetzt. 1900 wurde die jetzige Pirminiuskirche errichtet.
