Summary

Description
English: Grave site of Nathan Edward Cook (1885-1992) and his wife Elizabeth Cook (1887-1982). Cook was a sailor in the United States Navy during the Philippine-American War whose naval service continued through WWII. When he died at the age of 106, he was the oldest surviving American war veteran. He is buried in Section 11; Plot 2023 in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.[1]
