Summary

Description
English: Dynamo torch, of the type made by Philips in the occupied Netherlands during WW2. From the remaining paint, this may have been a Wehrmacht issue torch. Pumping the handle turns a flywheel inside the torch, which turns an electric generator attached to the flywheel, lighting the incandescent light bulb (left). The torch must be pumped continually during use.
