Description

Stick model of the phenyllithium etherate tetramer, (PhLi·Et2O)4, as found in the crystal structure. The ethyl groups on the diethyl ether molecules have been omitted for clarity.

Colour code:

  • Carbon, C: grey
  • Hydrogen, H: white
  • Lithium, Li: lilac
  • Oxygen, O: red

Structure (determined by X-ray diffraction) from J. Am. Chem. Soc. (1983) 105, 5320–5324 (CALKOP).
