Bahasa Melayu: Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Putera Negara Pengiran Haji Umar bin Pengiran Datu Penghulu Pengiran Haji Apong adalah antara 5 orang 'hero' Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei yang berjaya menangkap seorang pembunuh di daerah Tutong. Pada 25 Julai 1961, telah berlaku satu peristiwa pembunuhan terhadap 5 orang penduduk Kampong Kiudang di daerah Tutong oleh seorang warganegara asing dengan menggunakan parang. 5 orang mangsa pembunuhan tersebut terdiri dari dua orang kanak-kanak lelaki berusia 5 bulan dan 2 tahun, seorang kanak-kanak perempuan berusia 7 dan seorang gadis berusia 15 tahun bersama ibunya. . Pembunuh tersebut telah berjaya ditangkap pada 3 Ogos 1961 di dalam hutan di antara Kampong Lamunin dan Kampong Mungkom sekitar jam 9.30 pagi. 5 'hero' Brunei daripada Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei tersebut ialah (gambar) dari kiri: Sarjan Awangku Umar bin Pengiran Apong (Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Putera Negara Pengiran Haji Umar) sebagai ketua pasukan, PC Metussin bin Puteh, PC Ibrahim bin Abdul Kadir, PC Othman bin Haji Tengah dan PC Awangku Anwar bin Pengiran Haji Rajid. Dengan tertangkapnya pembunuh tersebut, barulah penduduk Kampong Kiudang, Lamunin dan kampong-kampong sekitarnya berasa aman dan tenteram dan tidak lagi berasa cemas dan bimbang. Pesuruhjaya Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei ketika itu, Dato Seri Pahlawan Allen Neil Outram telah merakamkan ucapan tahniah kepada 5 'hero' tersebut atas kecekapan mereka menjalankan tugas sehingga tertangkapnya pembunuh tersebut.
