Description
English: Penzance - Swansea express beyond Patchway station.
View SE, towards Filton Junction and Bristol or Swindon and London; ex-GWR Bristol & South Wales main line. The 07.55 from Penzance has come via Exeter and Bristol Temple Meads and is due at Swansea at 17.15, headed by 4-6-0 No. 6908 'Downham Hall' (built 11/40, withdrawn 7/65). Patchway station can be seen on the right, with a Down freight waiting in the loop with a 2-8-0T. (See also ST6081 : Cardiff - Bristol train near Patchway for the opposite direction.
