Summary

Description Pat McCrory celebrating in a group at the Westin in Charlotte, NC, on election night 2012 (6 November 2012). Republican Pat McCrory defeated Democratic candidate Lt. Gov Walter Dalton and Libertarian candidate Barbara Howe to become North Carolina’s 74th governor. Photo was taken by a Charlotte Observer newspaper photographer and sent by the Charlotte Observer to Lisa Frazier, Pat McCrory’s Executive Assistant, who donated the print to the State Archives January 2, 2013. Depicted are the following ID’d by Liz McLean, Governor’s Page Coordinator for McCrory (roughly l-r): Two unidentified men, an unidentified red-haired woman with back to camera, unidentified partially obscured light-haired woman in black glasses, two of of these unidentified people are Katy Morrow Harvey and Matt Harvey), Reston Jones, unidentified partially obscured light-haired woman, Heather Jeffreys, possibly Pat McCrory’s brother (?) standing behind Heather Jeffreys, Pat McCrory leaning out in very front, Morgan Beam behind McCrory, Meredith McCullen (green dress), two unidentified men standing behind Beam and McCullen, Zan Pope, leaning over just behind Pat McCrory, Lindsey Morton, Billy Constangey (face partially obscured), Dustin Evans, Andy Lancaster (with hand on McCrory’s shoulder), Thomas Evins (only top of head and one shoulder visible), and Matt McKillip.
