Summary

Description
English: "View of the South Front of the New Buildings called Adelphi, formerly Durham Yard and also that part of the Cities of London and Westminster, engraving by Benedetto Pastorini.

The arches on the left are on a quayside where goods and passengers can be landed from the Thames, Upstairs is the Adelphi Terrace. The prestigious project was undertaken by the four Adam brothers, Scottsh architects.

In the right background is Blackfriars Bridge and St Paul's Cathedral.i
