English: Santa Ana Plaza was the center of Panama City's arrabal, or area outside the walls. In the XIX century the plaza was used for bullfights and as a market, but in the 1890's it was turned into a park with trees, paths and benches.
Español: La Plaza de Santa Ana era el centro del arrabal de la ciudad de Panamá. En el siglo XIX se utilizaba como mercado y lugar de fiestas (ante todo corrida de toros), aunque en 1890 fue convertida en un parque con árboles y bancas. |
