Italiano: La città di Paola deve ai Normanni la costruzione del ‘’Castello di Paola’’ intorno all’anno 1110 d.C. Questa roccaforte fu eretta usando malta e tufo, in una posizione strategica che sovrastava la città e aveva lo scopo di difendere monaci e abitanti dai soldati che passavano attraverso il territorio paolano.
