English: Pack bridge, Alyth The bridge crosses the Alyth Burn. Throughout the centuries Alyth has managed to avoid destruction. It once earned its living by jute milling and weaving. Local layered and jointed sandstone, quarried nearby, was used to build Alyth as it expanded rapidly in the 1800s. |
