Description
English: Reconstructed Orthodox Church in Karlovac
Deutsch: 2007 rekonstruierte serbisch-orthodoxe Sankt Nikolas Kirche in Karlovac. Sie findet man an der Ostseite des Platzes. Die ursprüngliche Kirche war 1787 errichtet worden. Im 2. Weltkrieg wurde diese schwer beschädigt, aber wieder aufgebaut. 1991 wurde sie von kroatischen Truppen in die Luft gesprengt, die Ikonastase war aber bereits vorausschauend ausgebaut worden. 1993 war sie komplett verwüstet und bestand fast nur noch aus Außenmauern. 2007 wurde sie rekonstruiert.
