Summary

Description The original Niketown store, at 6th and Salmon, in the Public Service Building, in downtown Portland, Oregon, with reconstruction of the Portland Transit Mall (to add MAX light rail tracks) in the foreground. This very first Niketown opened in 1990 and closed in 2011, moving to a different location in downtown Portland.
