Constellation of 'serpent bearer' straddles equat..; ecliptic (sun & planets) pass through south. 12 of 1st 13 greek letters (inc. Nu at E. hand) are waist upwards - Theta at SE foot. NW, NE, W, E corners: unusual as broad pairs.
