Summary

Description
English: A U.S. Marine Corps Sikorsky CH-53E Super Stallion from Marine medium helicopter transport squadron HMM-365 Blue Knights, the 26th MEU's Aviation Combat Element, lands at the evacuation site inside the compound at the US Embassy in Tirana, Albania, during Operation SILVER WAKE, on 18 March 1997. The 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) was called upon to perform a NEO (Non-combatant Evacuation Operation) of US citizens that desired to leave Albania, due to civil strife.
