  • The Volunteer Cavalry Squadron (Polish: Dywizjon Jazdy Ochotniczej) or Death Hussars Squadron (Dywizjon Huzarów Śmierci) was a cavalry unit in the Polish Army during the Polish-Bolshevik War. It gained a reputation for never being defeated throughout its existence. Formed in 1920 with two squadrons, it consisted of soldiers from various cavalry regiments and volunteers. The squadron saw action in battles, capturing enemy machine guns and cannons. It was disbanded in 1921.
