English: Nursery Pond, Hazlecourt Fish Pond - Llysworney Once used to breed a variety of decorative and exotic aquarium fish, the ponds were turned into a sport fishery some years ago. Attempts were made to remove the original inhabitants but with limited success which is why some 33 species remain to be caught in the main ponds, more than any other Welsh fishery. There are four spring fed ponds on the site as well as the nursery ponds and carp of up to 28 lb have been caught here.
