English: North Presbyterian Church, 374 Ninth Avenue, at the northeast corner of 31st Street, New York City. (For street address, see: "Detroit Pastor Chosen". New-York Tribune. November 15, 1900. p. 2 col. 3.)

Demolished in 1903 for construction of Pennsylvania Station.

Caption reads:

Dr. Hatfield's Church, Ninth Avenue, cor. Thirty-first Street. Entd. according to Act of Congress, in the year 1863, by G. Stacy, in the Clerk's Office of the Dis. Court of the U. S. for the S'rn. Dis. of N. Y.

Border reads:

Stacy. 691 B'way.

George Stacy was a prominent Civil War photographer who had an office at 691 Broadway. See: H. Wilson, compiler. Trow's New York City Directory. Volume 78 (year ending May 1, 1865) (New York: John F. Trow). p. 837, "STACY GEORGE, photographer, 691 B'way".
